Our Elders and their wives:
The New Testament church had a group of elders in each local church. They were like shepherds to their flock, guiding them to be disciples of Jesus. They took care of the spiritual and physical needs of church members.
At Hurstwood, we practice eldership as the way God wants a Christian church to be run, seeking God’s guidance and teaching sound Christian doctrine.
Elders serve with humility, love, and grace, working as the hands and feet of Christ who is The Chief Shepherd.
